Nicknamed"the grande dame of West Coast decoration"by The New Yorker, Kelly Wearstler is the new icon of decoration in the United States. Enjoying international recognition, she has received various design awards from numerous publications, including Architectural Digest's AD 100, Elle Decor's A-List, Wallpaper Magazine's Top 20 Designers and Design 100 from Time Magazine. A refined nod to ancient pottery, the Dune service is built on a dialogue between past and present. The different porcelain pieces have a double finish (matt and shiny) which creates a subtle contrast. The clean, simple shapes are enhanced with ridges and protruding lines that break up the surfaces. This relief pattern repeated on the different pieces becomes a graphic sign, affirming the identity of the collection. Once assembled on the table, the different pieces create astonishing volumes and harmonious compositions. Kelly Wearstler, who loves the Mix and Match of materials, completed her ceramic collection with a few marble pieces. Timeless and luxurious, this material oozes antiquity.
