It’s easy to mount, and the dimmer automatically finds out whether the lamp uses LED or an incandescent bulb. The maximum wattage is 4-100W for LED and 40-250W for incandescent bulbs. NB When it’s time to change or mount a dimmer on a floor lamp, you need to find the lowest wattage. If it’s written on the dimmer (40W-100W), the lowest wattage has to be 40W. Example: Your floor lamp has three light sources, and you mount 3 x 8W light sources. Your total wattage is 24W, so they won’t be compatible with a 40W-100W dimmer.
